Description

Hadrian, 117-138. Denarius (Silver, 19 mm, 3.65 g, 6 h), Rome, late 121-123. IMP CAESAR TRAIAN HADRIANVS AVG Laureate, cuirassed bust of Hadrian, cropped of its pteryges to right. Rev. P M TR P COS III / CONCORD Concordia seated left on throne, holding patera in her right hand and resting her left elbow on statuette of Spes; below throne, cornucopia. BMC 260 var. ( no drapery ). RIC II.3, 551. RSC 255. Light toning. Minor flan fault on reverse, otherwise, good extremely fine.
