Wild boar moving to left above a pellet within a circle of dots; below, to left and to right, three roses and three large pellets. Rev. Irregular incuse square. SNG ANS 732. Svoronos, Hel. Prim., 4 and pl. XVI, 40. Troxell and Spengler ANSMN 15, pl. 18, B. Extremely rare. Clear and well-struck, with a fascinating obverse. Rough surfaces as usual, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.

This coin is part of a series, which seems to be a kind of alliance issue: all bear the the so-called Roses of Pangaeum on their obverses, accompanied by additional type - here a boar - that was the badge of the issuing city.
