BRUTTIUM. Vibo Valentia (Hipponion). Circa 193-150 BC. Sextans (Bronze, 15 mm, 2.20 g, 4 h). Laureate head of Apollo to right; behind his head, two pellets. Rev. VALENTIA Lyre; in the field to right, two pellets. HN III 2766. SNG ANS 485. SNG Morcom 421 var. Most attractive, with a glossy brown-green patina. Minor uncleaned deposits, otherwise, extremely fine.
