BRUTTIUM. Kroton. Circa 375-350 BC. Obol (Silver, 10 mm, 0.54 g). Tripod with legs ending in lions' paws, a high neck and three rings on the bowl; in the field to left, grain ear. Rev. Pellet in the middle of three crescents with points outward. Cf. HGC I 1495 and HN III 2186 ( but both with ethnics ). Rare. Sharp and well-struck. Rough surface with some horn silver, otherwise, about extremely fine.
