Description

CORINTHIA. Corinth. Circa 400-350 BC. Diobol (Silver, 11 mm, 0.84 g, 11 h). Ϙ Pegasos with spread wings flying to left. Rev. Ι Pegasos, with curved wings and raised right foreleg, standing to left on ground line. BCD Corinth 198( this coin ). BMC 359 and pl. VIII, 1 ( same dies ). HGC 4, 1889. Weber 3746 ( reverse struck from the same dies ). Rare. Well-struck and toned. About extremely fine.
