THESSALY. Pharkadon. Circa 440-400 BC. Obol (Silver, 7 mm, 0.85 g, 2 h). Horse walking to right; border of dots. Rev. ΦΑ - Ρ - ΚΑΔ ( partially upside-down ) Athena standing right, her spear over her left shoulder and her shield resting before her on the ground; all in a shallow incuse square. BCD Thessaly I 1271 ( same obverse die ). BCD Thessaly II, 619.2 = Jameson 1101 ( same reverse die ). Nicely toned. Very minor uncleaned deposits, otherwise, very fine.
