PONTOS. Amisos. Time of Mithradates VI Eupator, circa 85-65 BC. (Bronze, 21 mm, 8.25 g, 11 h). Head of young Dionysos to right, wearing ivy wreath. Rev. ΑΜΙΣΟΥ Panther skin and thyrsos on cista mystica. HGC 7, 243. Malloy 26a. SNG BM Black Sea 1199-1200. Well struck and centered. Extremely fine.
