Description
ARKADIA. Pheneos. Circa 300-240 BC. Dichalkon (Bronze, 18 mm, 3.70 g, 12 h). Laureate and draped bust of Artemis to right, bow and quiver at shoulder. Rev. ΦΕΝΕΩΝ, Horse grazing right; below, monogram of AP; in exergue, monogram of HP. BCD Peloponnesos 1626. HGC 5, 988. Dark green patina. Rare. A little rough, otherwise, very fine.
