Description
THRACE. Madytos. Circa 350 BC. (Bronze, 22 mm, 8.19 g, 4 h). Bull butting left; above, grape bunch. Rev. Μ-Α/Δ/Υ Hound seated right; behind, grain ear. HGC 3.2, 1507. SNG Copenhagen 923-4. Very fine.
Madytos was a colony of the Aeolians from Lesbos.
