SELEUKID KINGS. Demetrios I Soter, 162-150 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 30.5 mm, 16.57 g, 1 h), Antioch on the Orontes, circa 162-154. Diademed head of Demetrios I to right; laurel wreath border. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΔHMHTPIOY Tyche seated to left on throne supported by winged Tritoness, holding short scepter in right hand and cornucopia in left. HGC 9, 795f. SC 1638.1i. Fantastic portrait. Very fine.
