★ Extremely Rare and Bold Horse ★
THESSALY. Pharsalos. Circa 3rd quarter of 4th century BC. Obol (Silver, 12 mm, 0.90 g, 12 h). Head of Athena to left, wearing a crested Attic helmet decorated with Skylla; below neck, A. Rev. Φ-Α-ΡΣ-Α Horse's head to right. BCD Thessaly II 670.2 ( same dies ). Lavva -, but cf. 162 ( different dies, but only two examples known ). Extremely rare. Well centered and lightly toned. Very fine.
