Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ - ΔΗΜΗΤΡΙΟΥ / ΘΕΟΥ - ΝΙΚΑΤΟΡΟΣ Zeus, draped from the waist, seated to left on high backed throne, holding Nike in his right hand and long scepter with his left; in exergue, monogram of ΔΗ and ΜΥ. CSE 802. HGC 9, 1117g. LSM 4. SC 2202. Beautifully toned and with a bearded portrait of Demetrios II in a serene and elegant Hellenistic style. Minor marks, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
