CARIA. Uncertain mint. Circa 341-334 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 23 mm, 15.30 g, 4 h), Chian standard, struck during the period from late in the reign of Artaxerxes III, through that of Arses and early under Darios III. Persian king, wearing kidaris and kandys, in kneeling-running stance to right, drawing his bow. Rev. Warrior, wearing kyrbasia and Persian dress, riding a horse galloping to right, thrusting a spear downwards, with his upraised right hand. Konuk, Influences Group 1, 1 and pl. XXX, 8. Cf.
