Statue of Aphrodite Aineias standing right, holding aphlaston in right hand; behind her, stag standing right; in the field to left, and eagle standing to right on the left of a long scepter surmounted by dove; all within a laurel wreath. Rev. ΛEYKAΔIΩN / ΒΑΘΥΟΣ Galley prow to right, decorated with a laurel branch; to right, monogram of AT. BCD Akarnania 297 ( this coin ). SNG Copenhagen 380. Rare. Sharp, fresh and nicely toned. Flat struck in areas, as usual, otherwise, extremely fine.
