CALABRIA. Tarentum. Circa 302-280 BC. Drachm (Silver, 17 mm, 3.07 g, 3 h). Head of Athena to left, wearing crested Attic helmet adorned with Skylla hurling a stone. Rev. ΤΑΡ Owl, with closed wings and head turned to face the viewer, standing to left on thunderbolt; in field to left, torch. Cf. HN III 975. Vlasto 1101 ( same dies ). Attractive and pleasing. Good very fine.
