ΤΑRΑΣ ( retrograde ) Phalanthos, nude and with both of his arms stretched out to right, riding a dolphin swimming to right; below, scallop shell downwards; border of dots. Rev. ΤΑR[ΑΣ] Young man ( Oikist - Taras ), with hair cut short in the manner of an athlete, draped from the waist, seated to left on a diphros, and holding an upright spindle in his right hand and a long staff (a baktéria in ancient Greek) in his left.
