Alexius I Comnenus, 1081-1118. Tetarteron (Bronze, 15 mm, 2.18 g, 6 h), Constantinople. IC - XC Nimbate bust of Christ Pantokrator facing, holding Gospels. Rev. ΑΛΕΞΙ ΔΕCΠΤ Crowned facing bust of Alexius I, wearing loros, holding labarum in right hand and globus cruciger in left. DOC 33. SB 1920. Dark green patina. Light porosity and cleaning marks. Fine.
