SELEUKID KINGS. Demetrios I Soter, 162-150 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 27 mm, 16.44 g, 10 h), Antioch on the Persian Gulf. Diademed head of Demetrios I to right. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΔΗΗΤΡΙΟΥ Apollo seated left on omphalos, holding arrow in right hand and supporting bow set on ground with left; to outer left, monogram of ME; to outer left, monogram of HPA. HGC 9, 790a. Cf. SC 1707.2 ( left control is a monogram of EMP, only two pellets on bow ) and 1707.3 ( right control is a monogram of HPAK, only two pellets on bow ). Unpublished with these controls.
