Head of Athena Parthenos to right, wearing a triple-crested Attic helmet, adorned with Pegasos and a long tendril on the bowl, and with four horse protomes on the visor. Rev. Α-ΘΕ / KA-PAIX / ΕPΓO-KΛΕ / XAI Owl standing right on amphora, head facing; to right, prow; on amphora, H; below amphora, ΣΩ ( = contractor's initials ); all within olive wreath. HGC 4, 1602. Thompson 534b. Well centered and struck. Light porosity on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
