ATTICA. Athens. Circa 449-404 BC. Trihemiobol (Silver, 11 mm, 1.01 g, 3 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet adorned with three olive leaves and a palmette, round earring and pearl necklace. Rev. [A]/Θ-Ε Owl standing facing with wings displayed; above, two olive leaves; all within circular incuse. HGC 4, 1647. Kroll -. SNG Copenhagen 50-2. Rare, attractive, and desirable. Nearly very fine.
