BOEOTIA. Thebes. Circa 395-338 BC. Obol (Silver, 10 mm, 0.85 g), struck under the magistrate Theoti..., circa 363-348. Boeotian shield, with a horizontal club to left across the upper half. Rev. Head of youthful Herakles wearing lionskin headdress to right; in the field to right, ⨀Ε; all within a circular incuse. BCD Boiotia 548. Bérend 38. HGC 4, 1359. Nicely toned and perfectly centered reverse. About extremely fine.
