ILLYRIA. Dyrrhachion. Circa 120-80/70 BC. Drachm (Silver, 19 mm, 3.16 g, 11 h), struck under the magistrates Alkon and Permeniskos. ΑΛΚΩΝ Cow standing right, head turned to nudge suckling calf standing left below; above, radiate head of Helios facing. Rev. ΔΥΡ ΠΑΡ-ΜΕΝΙΣ-ΚΟΥ Double stellate pattern within double linear quadrangle. BMC 109. Meta IV/49, dies D14/R15. Maier 337. Very fine.
