SICILY. Syracuse. Roman rule, after 212 BC. AE (Bronze, 13 mm, 2.28 g, 6 h). Laureate head of Asklepios to right. Rev. ΣYPAK - OΣIΩN Serpent entwined staff. BAR 105. CNS 223. HGC 2, 1529 (R1). SNG München 1494. Rare. The obverse struck somewhat off center, otherwise. Good very fine.
