Description
LUCANIA. Thourioi. After 280 BC. Nomos (Silver, 20 mm, 6.28 g, 12 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet, the bowl of which is decorated with a wreath. Rev. ΘΟΥΡΙΩΝ Bull butting right; in exergue, owl alighting to right between [A] and PI. HN III 1891. McClean 1317. Nearly very fine.
