BULGARIA. Second Empire. Ivan Asen II, 1218–1241. Aspron Trachy (Billon, 30 mm, 3.23 g, 6 h), Ochrida(?). IC - XC Bust of Christ facing, raising right hand in benediction and holding Gospels in left. Rev. [IW AC+bNbΦCB A T bI ΔHMHTPIE] (or similar) Ivan II with cross scepter and St. Demetrios with sword together holding staff with star attachment. Raduchev & Zhekov 1.2.2. Good very fine.
