Manuel I Comnenus, 1143-1180. Tetarteron (Bronze, 22 mm, 4.04 g, 6 h), Thessalonica, 1167-1183(?). IC - XC Cross crosslet set on three steps. Rev. MAN(OY)HΛ ΔECΠT Half-length figure of Manuel I standing facing, holding labarum in right hand and globus cruciger in left. DOC 19. SB 1976. Dark green-brown patina. Very fine.
