KINGS OF MACEDON. Philip II, 359-336 BC. 1/5 Tetradrachm (Silver, 13 mm, 2.42 g, 7 h), struck posthumously under Philip III, Amphipolis, circa 323/2-316/5. Diademed head of Apollo to right. Rev. ΦIΛIΠΠOΥ Youth on horseback right; below, monogram of ΠYN and pellet. Le Rider -. Cf. SNG ANS 574 ( monogram form, and star instead of pellet ). Unpublished control. Very fine.
