Constans II, 641-668. Hexagram (Silver, 27 mm, 6.54 g, 6 h), Constantinople, 648-651/2. d N CONSTAN-TINYS P P AV Crowned facing bust of Constans II, wearing chlamys and holding globus cruciger. Rev. DEYS AdIYTA ROMANIS Cross potent set on globe and three steps. DOC 50. MIB 144. SB 991. Nicely toned with a fine portrait of Constans. Struck on a irregular, as usual, flan, and with traces of overstriking , otherwise, nearly very fine.
