Maximinus I, 235-238. Denarius (Silver, 20 mm, 3.17 g, 12 h), Rome, 236-238. MAXIMINVS PIVS AVG GERM Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Maximinus to right. Rev. PAX AVGVSTI Pax standing facing, her head to left, holding olive branch in her right hand and transverse scepter in her left. BMC 144. Cohen 37. RIC 19. A fresh, sharp and particularly well struck Denarius. Extremely fine.
