SYRIA, Decapolis. Gerasa . Hadrian, 117-138. (Bronze, 25 mm, 11.75 g, 12 h), year 14 = 129-130. ΔΙ ΑΥΤ Κ ΤΡΑ ΑΔΡΙΑΝΟС СΕ Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Hadrian to right. Rev. APTEMIC TYXH ΓEPACEΩΝ Draped bust of Diana-Fortuna to right, with quiver over her shoulder; to right, bow. Rosenberger 5-6. RPC III 4084. SNG ANS 1343. Reddish brown patina. Good fine.
Acquired in the 1990s from the stock of Frank Sternberg.
