Description
IONIA. Teos. Circa 370-340 BC. Hemidrachm (Silver, 11.5 mm, 1.29 g, 10 h), struck under the magistrate Diogenes. Griffin seated right, with left forepaw raised. Rev. THI / ΔΙΟΓΕΝΗΣ Kantharos. Kinns 30. SNG Copenhagen 1445. Perfectly centered and lightly toned. A few faint hairlines and minor porosity, otherwise, good very fine.
