IONIA. Uncertain mint. Circa 550-525 BC. Hekte (Electrum, 11 mm, 2.37 g), on the Lydo-Milesian weight standard. Forepart of a bull to left, with linear ornaments ( letters? ) above and before. Rev. Rough incuse square with a vaguely cruciform pattern. Cf. Fischer-Bossert, "Horses", passim for a series with very similar reverses.
