Head of Poseidon to left, his hair flowing down the back of his head; behind his neck, trident; below truncation, tunny swimming to left. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. A superbly attractive coin with a wonderful portrait of Poseidon, highly reminiscent of the heads of Zeus on the virtually contemporary silver staters of Olympia and Megalopolis, Evenly worn and nicely toned. Good very fine.
