Andronicus III Palaeologus, 1328-1341. Assarion (Bronze, 21 mm, 2.08 g, 6 h), Constantinople, 1334-1335. Large N B; in fields above and below, star. Rev. ΑΝΔΡΟΝΙΚΟΣ ΔΕCΠΟΤΗC Half-length facing bust of Andronicus, holding cross-tipped scepter and akakia. DOC 904-6. SB 2480. Light earthen highlights. Good very fine.
