Divus Claudius, died 54. Aureus (Gold, 19 mm, 6.75 g, 1 h), Lugdunum, under Nero, October-December 54. DIVVS CLAVDIVS AVGVSTVS Laureate head of Divus Claudius to left. Rev. EX S C Slow quadriga right, with cart in the form of a small temple, the pediment of which is decorated with a lituus between two paterae and surmounted by four horses flanked by Victories to left and right; the side and front are decorated with three figures.
