PTOLEMAIC KINGS OF EGYPT. Berenike II, wife of Ptolemy III, circa 244/3-221 BC. Didrachm (Silver, 19 mm, 6.71 g, 6 h), Kyrene. Diademed and draped bust of Berenike to right. Rev. BAΣIΛIΣΣHΣ BEPENIKHΣ Club above monogram; to right, trident; to left, Π; all within laurel wreath. BMC 9. Svoronos 317. Only the second available example in CoinArchives. About very fine.
