Description
KINGS OF PARTHIA. Pakoros I, circa 39 BC. Drachm (Silver, 19.5 mm, 3.37 g, 12 h), Ekbatana. Diademed and draped bust of Pakoros I to left. Rev. Blundered legend Archer (Arsakes I) seated right on throne, holding bow; below bow, monogram. Sellwood 73.11 ( Pakoros II ). Shore 395 ( Pakoros II ). A couple of ancient scrapes on the obverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
