KINGS OF PARTHIA. Phriapatios to Mithradates I, circa 185-132 BC. Drachm (Silver, 19 mm, 3.96 g, 12 h), uncertain mint. Head of king to left, wearing bashlyk tied with diadem. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΜΕΓΑΛΟΥ ΑPΣΑΚΟΥ Archer (Arsakes I) seated to right on omphalos, holding bow; before legs, monogram. Sellwood 10.6 ( Mithradates I ). Shore 15 ( Mithradates I ). Scarce with the monogram on the reverse. Nicely toned. Minor porosity, otherwise, good very fine.
