SYRIA, Coele-Syria. Damaskos. Cleopatra VII of Egypt, 33/2 BC. (Bronze, 22 mm, 7.85 g, 11 h). Diademed and draped bust of Cleopatra VII to right. Rev. ΔΑΜΑΣΚΗΝΩΝ Tyche seated left on rock, extending right arm and holding cornucopia in left; at feet, river-god swimming right; to left, L ΠΣ above sistrum; all within wreath. HGC 9, 1462. RPC I 4783. SNG Copenhagen 419. Dark green patina with reddish earthen highlights. Very fine.
