SELEUKID KINGS. Demetrios I Soter, 162-150 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, plated, 29 mm, 14.40 g, 1 h), contemporary imitation of Antioch on the Orontes mint, prototype circa 162-155/4. Diademed head of Demetrios I to right; all within wreath. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΔΗΜΗΤΡΙΟΥ Tyche seated left on throne with tritoness support, holding scepter in left hand and cornucopia in right; in exergue, monogram of HP. cf. HGC 9, 795f. cf. SC 1638.2d. Toned.
