CRETE. Lyttos. Circa 320-270 BC. Stater (Silver, 24 mm, 11.55 g, 3 h). Eagle with spread wings flying to left. Rev. ΛΥΤΤ-ION Forepart of boar to left in dotted square border within incuse square. Le Rider pl.VII, 22-23 (same obverse die, but reverse with boar's head to right). Cf. Svoronos 35, pl. XXI, 25. Toned and well-centered. Flan crack, otherwise, very fine.
