SICILY. Akragas. Circa 465/4-446 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 24 mm, 16.45 g, 3 h). AKRAC - ANTOΣ Eagle with closed wings standing to left. Rev. Crab, with open claws, seen from above. Westermark 323 ( O5/R17, but this coin not recorded ). Toned. Very fine.
From the collection of a Nobleman who died in 1940 (original collector's ticket included), acquired from Ravel in April 1934, and prior from a Platt auction.
