Corinthia. Corinth. Circa 400-375 BC. Stater (Silver, 23 mm, 8.57 g, 11 h). (koppa) Pegasos flying to left. Rev. Head of Athena (or Aphrodite) to left, wearing crestless Attic helmet; in field on the upper left, ornamental trident. Calciati 133. Ravel II, 411 (these dies). An elegant, very attractive, toned and well-struck example. Extremely fine. From a Swiss collection, ex Münzen und Medaillen DE 38, 5 June 2013, 37, purchased privately from Münzen und Medaillen AG in Basel on 10 February 1951.
