AXUM. Gersem, circa 570-590. Argyros (Silver, 14.5 mm, 0.61 g, 3 h). GR SM ("Gersem" in Ge'ez) Crowned and draped bust to right, holding long cross. Rev. NG S ("King" in Ge'ez) Draped bust to right, wearing headcloth, holding long cross. AC 147. H 51. Hahn & Keck 82. SyllAsh 525. Some deposits and clipped, otherwise, fine.
