MHP- ΘOY / H A/ΓΙΟ-CO/PI/TH/CA The Virgin Mary in the type of Hagiosoritissa, standing facing, with both her hands raised in supplication towards Manus Dei at her right. Rev. + MA/KPEMBO/ΛITHN MIX /KOPH / CKE/ΠOIC = “Maiden, may you protect Michael Makrembolites”, in five metric lines within round dotted border. Hunger, “Makremboliten” 12a. Laurent, Orghidan 379. Wassiliou-Seibt 1347. Rare and with interesting iconography of the Virgin Mary. A pair of old bangs on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
