SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Seleukos I Nikator, 312-281 BC. (Bronze, 14 mm, 2.40 g, 12 h), Antioch on the Orontes, late 280s. Winged head of Medusa to right. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΣΕΛΕΥΚΟΥ Bill butting to right; between hindlegs, K. HGC 9, 117 (R2). Cf. SC 24 ( larger denomination and different control ). WSM -. Unpublished variety. Dark brown patina. Scratches on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
