ISLANDS OFF CARIA, Rhodos. Rhodes. Circa 88-84 BC. Drachm (Silver, 15 mm, 2.84 g, 12 h), plinthophoric series, struck under the magistrate Anaxidotos. Radiate head of Helios to right. Rev. Ρ-Ο / ANAΞIΔOTOΣ Rose with bud to right; to left, serpent coiled around omphalos. HGC 6, 1458. Jenkins, Group B, 30. Karl -. SNG Copenhagen 809-10. SNG Keckman -. Lightly toned, well centered and attractive. Good very fine.
