THESSALY. Pharkadon. Circa 440-400 BC. Obol (Silver, 12 mm, 0.83 g, 3 h). Horse walking to right. Rev. ΦAPKAΔO-NION Athena standing left, holding spear in her right hand and resting her left on her waist; to right, shield. BCD II 619.1. HGC 4, 298. Among the best known examples. A beautiful little gem. Good very fine.
