Divus Augustus, died AD 14. Dupondius (Orichalcum, 30 mm, 10.77 g, 6 h), struck under Tiberius, Rome, 22/3-30. DIVVS AVGVSTVS PATER Radiate head of Augustus to left. Rev. S - C Victory flying left, supporting shield inscribed S P Q R resting on tree trunk with right hand. BMC 141. Cohen 242. RIC² 77. Rare. Brown patina. Very fine.
