KINGS OF LYDIA. Alyattes II to Kroisos, circa 610-546 BC. Hemihekte or 1/12 Stater (Subaeratus, 7 mm, 0.88 g), Sardes. Head of roaring lion to right, sun with no rays on forehead. Rev. Incuse square punch. Cf. Kurth G29-30. Cf. Weidauer Group XVI, 90. Plating broken in spots, otherwise, good fine.
